The word may be out of date, but this is a disco album. The big beat dominates every track of what is in essence a dance sampler. If you are looking for something to enliven your next party, you've just been hired to act as deejay at your local club, or you like to keep up a steady rhythm in your exercising, this may be the record for you. Certainly, the nominal artists seem interchangeable, the lyrics are romantic but rudimentary, and all is at the service of the relentless beat. But it's a hard record to listen to while sitting still.
