Formed in 2004, Lawrence, Kansas' Cast Pattern craft meticulous and brutal grindcorekissed techmetal in the vein of acts like Converge, Dillinger Escape Plan and Ed Gein. Fueled by the talents of aptlynamed vocalist James Savage, drummer Spencer Bates, bassist Brian Denman and guitarists Chris Hess and Jamakee Blackburn, Cast Pattern released its' eponymous debut album on the Uprising/Midgets with Machetes label in spring, 2008.
