The debut album by The Considerators, Consider This, sounds both new and yet somehow familiar.
The album of 11 original songs has a classic rock sound that also touches on a range of styles that extend to country-rock, reggae, metal and pop. Two lead singers, a man and a women - Ron Duncan and Kim Lovering - blend their voices into a distinctive sound that recalls Fleetwood Mac or even Donna The Buffalo. Other songs sound like The Wallflowers with Jakob Dylan or Sean Colvin. The album's lead song, and first single, "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane," sound like Pat Benatar backed by ZZ Top - listen to it once, and you'll be humming the chorus under your breath for a long, long time.
