Cal's second album, and his major debut, is saved by the hit single "My Projects." It pushes the rapper's gruff style to the forefront, and the rinky-dink beats monotonous and tedious by album's end aptly serve the song. The rest of Disturbed, however, is basically standard-issue hip-hop, buoyed occasionally by street authenticity.
