The arrangements on "No Biting" are angular, anxious and ambitious. "Dirtbag" & "Insomnia" are hateful, high-speed and hard, while "Jesus Crux" and "Nature" are sluggish and sad. The singing goes from suspicious, stressed-out screaming and to a satisfied sense of solitude...sometimes within the same song. This is a diverse disc by brilliant band.
