Hearts & Hands Alex Lyman [Guitar], Garrett Garfield [vocals], Fletcher Howell [bass/vocals], Chris Kim [guitar], and Chris Suitt [drums] began crafting My Own Machine in early 2013. The Salt Lake City, UT group released its acclaimed self-titled debut EP in late 2012 and immediately garnered a groundswell of support from fans. After tirelessly writing for two months, the boys hit the Interlace Audio with producer Stephan Hawkes [Attila] to record what would become My Own Machine in March 2013. They created a soundscape that quakes from soaring melodies into mind-numbing grooves, while boasting some unshakable hooks. They will be hitting the road with Jonny Craig In September and plan to be on the road throughout 2014.
