James Taylor - Before This World (Audio CD - Jun 16, 2015)

Due in June 2015, Before This World is James Taylor's first new album of original material since his 2002 LP October Road. A late-career reality check had the acclaimed singer/songwriter wondering if he'd ever release another album of new songs. After making the decision to cut himself off from friends and family, Taylor rented a solo apartment in Newport, Rhode Island and sequestered himself in order to rediscover his muse. He emerged with a set of warmhearted songs that recall his early-'70s heyday as a soothing, introspective folk troubadour. Recorded at Taylor's own studio in rural Massachusetts with his longtime touring band, Before This World also features guest appearances from Sting and Yo-Yo Ma.
