Approaching a milestone birthday, and the unavoidable accompanying introspection and retrospection, Lawrence Savell decided to switch gears and revisit and reinterpret some of the non-lawyer/non-holiday/non-humor songs he had written over the past 40 years, but never released. The common element, either directly or symbolically, is relationships, with partners, family, friends, colleagues, and ourselves. In a sense, he connected with the person he was when I wrote them, adding the perspective of subsequent life experiences, and hopefully somewhat more developed musical ability. Dream World is the result. The 15 tracks encompass a broad range of genres, including rock, pop, and country anthems and ballads. We hope you enjoy it.
