In 1974 The Mighty Clouds of Joy, One of gospel music's most legendary quarters, decided "It's Time" to record a soul project. The resulting album, presented here for the first time ever on CD, is considered one of te best to ever come out of Philadelphia and perhaps the greatest Gospel/Soul crossover album ever released. Cut at the great Sigma Sound Studios with Dave Crawford writing and producing, Wade Marcus arrangements and top notch Philly studio musicians such as Norman Harris, Bobby Eli, Vince Montana, Ronnie Baker and Earl oung, The album spawned the r&b chart hit "Time" and was nominated for a grammy in 1975.
