Old Time Assault formed in late 2013 as an original clawhammer banjo project, fronted by St Louis, MO singer/songwriter Jason Rudd. The core band is a trio with Jason Rudd (vocals, banjo), Eric Boudendistel (drum kit) and Sean Kamery (fiddle). Current live performances consist of a mix of original songs and old time standards.
