Reissue of this 1999 studio recording of Broadway legend Patti LuPone's acclaimed cabaret show, one of her two solo Broadway concerts. It originated on Broadway at the Vivian Beaumont Theater in 2000, and LuPone continued to perform this concert by taking it on tour. As the title suggests, this album explores the complicated yet beautiful themes of love and relationships. This album covers a lot of musical ground with songs from brilliant composers including Rodgers and Hammerstein, Stephen Sondheim, Frank Wildhorn, Randy Newman, Stephen Flaherty and more.
