P.J. Olsson is an eclectic singer-songwriter who was catapulted into the national limelight following the release of his first album, Words For Living. The groundbreaking CD created a palpable buzz in both the industry and among critics who generated rave reviews in local and national press. The San Francisco Examiner proclaimed: "Star of the future is here, now." Rolling Stone, Newsweek, USA Today, The Los Angeles Times, Vanity Fair and Bazaar all lauded the CD, while The Chicago Sun-Times hailed it as "an indelible treat from start to finish." It also earned him appearances on late-night talk shows, including the Late Show with David Letterman. Utilizing the immediacy of the digital age, Olsson earlier this year released a 5-song EP, The Ironwood Sessions, a mere three weeks after studio work was completed. Tunes from that creative intensive burst of writing and recording have already been featured in numerous hit TV shows, including CSI: NY, CSI: Miami, The Unit, Ghost Whisperer and NCIS.
