San Diego rockers P.O.D. have always been about connecting with their fans, and this new EP is meant to give something back to their devoted legions. The Warriors EP Vol. 2 is a special collection of demos, live tracks, b-sides, and remixes documenting the band's recent musical journeys. The release of the band's fourth Atlantic Records release Testify is just over the horizon, with some of their strongest songs recorded to date. But until then, this limited edition EP is a must have for the hard-core, showcasing the band at their most raw and honest. Atlantic. 2005. In anticipation of its 2006 album, Testify, the Christian nu-metal act P.O.D. (which stands for "Payable on Death") released this seven-song EP. In addition to demo tracks and live recordings, the disc includes the surging religious number "If It Wasn't for You" and (strangely enough) the reggae-tinged, Jah-praising "Why Wait?" Far from a stopgap offering, this potent 28-minute outing is sure to please the P.O.D. faithful.
