EMI has trimmed the fat from Poison's Swallow This Live, 13 years after its initial release. Down from a two-disc set to one disc of highlights, gone are the pompous five- and ten-minute guitar and drum solos, and the listener is left with just the hits from their first three releases. While the sound quality is still somewhat lacking a remastering job after 13 years shouldn't have been out of the question, it's still a fine release that's essential for Poison devotees who missed out the first time.
