Santana (Artist) - The Essential 3.0 Santana(Audio CD)

This album is basically "The Essential Santana" from 2002 (released the same week as "Shaman," the follow-up to "Supernatural") in a cardboard, space-saving package with a bonus third disc of live performances from 1968-1971, the period most consider Santana's prime. Discs 1-2 nicely cover the studio recordings from 1969-1989 (with one live cut from the same 1971 Fillmore performance that yields tracks 4-6 on the bonus disc). One of my main gripes with the original package was the exclusion of my favorite cut from the Woodstock era lineup, "Incident At Neshabur." That glorious instrumental fusion workout is now included on the third disc in its definitive live version.
