Some might call the songs on So Brown’s debut album ‘Point Legere’ “retro” but that would be a misnomer and quite frankly an injustice to this beautiful craftsmanship of song. So Brown, that’s the lead singers name, whom also adds guitar and piano along with her musical partners Rob Jost on bass and French horn and Robert DiPietro on drums, melts down a hodge podge of sounds including 1930s supper club jazz, Mississippi Delta Blues, and backwoods Appalachian pickin’ for a unique blend of music.
