Shuggy Mtn Breakdown is the October 2017 release from American rock band Sun Parade. The album ranges widely, from the swanky, sun-soaked summer single "Braindrain" to the blown-out, graphic-novel excesses of "Shuggy Mtn." The music is road-tested in basement shows and packed houses along Route 9 in the band's home territory of Western Massachusetts, on the same fold of the map that delivered Dinosaur Jr., Speedy Ortiz, Sonic Youth, and The Pixies. The album was produced in Brooklyn by Ian Hersey of Rubblebucket.
