Asbury Park's The Weeklings release their 3rd studio album, aptly named 3, the long awaited follow-up to their classic 2016 release Studio 2 which was recorded at Abbey Road Studios. Deeply informed by the music and the muse of The Beatles, The Weeklings take it in their own direction, crafting 9 original compositions ranging from the driving, Who influenced rhythm and rich vocal harmonies of In The Moment a Top 10 song of 2018 on Sirius XMs Little Stevens Underground Garage to the riff heavy title track 3 featuring Billy Joel sax-man Mark Rivera to the 70 s British pub rock feel of 1000 Miles Away. The album also includes two Weekling-ized covers, The Easybeats 1966 garage classic Friday On My Mind featuring lead vocals by British Invasion legend Peter Noone and a very electric version of The Beatles nugget Baby, You're A Rich Man.
