Ben Folds is the US born singer-songwriter and pianist, formerly the leader of the US indie-rock trio Ben Folds Five. He is known for his smart and humourous lyrics. Folds tried a number of different things prior to the release of the Ben Folds Five debut album in 1995; after leaving high school, he played bass/piano and wrote songs for indie trio Majosha.
